BIRT reporting for more than 1000 workitems and their links.

Currently there is a limitation in BIRT to allow only 1000 workitems for querying(for more information). Also i'm unable to find all the link entries from LINKS table of COMMON snapshot. Any idea about this behaviour?..Is there any work around for this. Kindly acknowledge..
