Unable to complete JTS setup, getting error "... peer not authenticatedID CRJAZ2328E"

David Nazary (1112) | asked Sep 15 '12, 12:37 p.m.
Hello;
I have installed WAS 8.0.0.3 and RTC 4.0 on a windows server and deployed JTS and now am in the process of configuring URI thru JTS setup which is pointing to an IBM HTTP server (rtc-sbox.intel.com)setup as a reverse proxy.

I'm getting following error:

The configuration test resulted in errors. Resolve the errors to continue. For more details, open the help system and search for CRJAZ1579E.ID CRJAZ1579E
hide details
A connection with "https://rtc-sbox.intel.com:9443/jts1" could not be verified. This can happen if web-site uses unsupported security protocol or cipher suite. Detailed message: peer not authenticatedID CRJAZ2328E

I followed instruction in tech note http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21567248 but i am still getting the same error. Any suggestions?

Thanks
David

Some configuration problem. Check teamserver.properties file.

This is most likely caused by either the JTS or IHS not trusting each other's certificates (I take it you're seeing an SSLPeerUnverifiedException in the logs?)

To solve this you need to go through steps 1-3 of this guide: https://jazz.net/library/article/745
