Error with Sandbox creation
Hi,
I was trying to create my very first sandbox (RTC 5.0.2), but I got the following error message upon the validation check: An error occurred during project area creation. The project name may already be in use. Retry now with a different project name or try again in a few minutes. 2015-3-3T15:54:55.878Z I'm getting this error regardless of the name I choose. I have never created a Sandbox before. Any idea what's wrong? Is it possible that this is the same issue as the one described here: https://jazz.net/forum/questions/166544/error-with-sandbox And if so, any idea when it'll be fixed? Thanks in advance! |

There was some testing being done which affected project creation yesterday at around the reported time (2015-3-3T15:54:55.878Z). I believe the team is also testing today as well. I have requested that the team at least post a notice on jazz.net/sandbox about when there is a test period schedule and that project creation will not work during the test period.

Thanks for your response; that might be it. I'm still getting the same error message upon my attempts right now though. What would be the recommended time frame for me in which to create my sandbox? As there's some time pressure on my end.

I'm also unable to create a sandbox project. I've pinged folks within IBM to see what's up.
I've seen this problem if you click the "create" button twice or more. Which is easy to do because there is a pause before you get feedback that the creation process has started. I pointed this issue out recently, and the jazz.net dev team is going to make a change to prevent it from happening, but I'm not sure if that change has been made yet. May not be the issue in this case, but it's one possibility.
