Problem in working with RTC

Jyotsna Mishra (1143) | asked Sep 11 '08, 12:41 a.m.
I installed RTC in my system but while working i am getting some errors like

1) while using address https://<server_host_address>:9443/jazz/setup, I am getting error

Secure Connection Failed

localhost:9443 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed.

(Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)

I have the same thing, but in your Firefox you can get by this by setting a security exception (which is a link right after your error). See http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Secure+Connection+Failed#The_certificate_is_not_trusted_because_it_is_self_signed. You're not doing anything dangerous by doing this, because you're accepting it from your private system.

You could also get a real security certificate, but I'm unsure how to do that. Probably not worth the effort.

Have a look in the jazzdocs concerning ssl certificate : https://jazz.net/jazzdocs/topic/com.ibm.team.install.doc/topics/c_server_certificates.html
