Deleted sub category still visible

jean-philippe vandara (111) | asked Jul 25 '12, 11:30 a.m.
Hi,

I'm RQM 3.0.1.2.

I have deleted a value from a subcategory but without having previously removed the link from the parent category.
The value have been removed (from the subcategory values), but the parent still offer the value for selection (for instance in the Summary section).

How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Jean-Philippe.

This was a defect that was fixed in RQM 3.0.1.3 (see https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=61580)

In case you aren't able to upgrade at this time I did test out a work around.  In the Category Administration check the box for "Show Deleted" and restore the attribute that you had deleted.  The remove the references to is in the parent category and re-delete it once the references are removed.  It will then no longer show up in the drop downs.
