Hi so have noticed another oddity in RQM 4.0.

Within the Test Case Results record, I have created a custom attribute and have made it mandatory. When a tester finishes executing a Test Case Execution Record it prompts for this attribute to be filled in.

However I have also added a category and have made that mandatory as well. But it doesn't ask for it to be filled in when the TCER has been run. For that to be filled in the, tester has to go to the Test Case Result record itself and populate it.

Is this a bug or a know behaviour?

It is a defect.  The required categories should be set before the execution complete to generate the execution result.  Created a defect Required Test Case Execution Result category is not prompted during execution (81531) to keep track.
