We're looking at going the JAZZ -CLM route on a number of our programs, migrating off of Clearcase/Quest.

One area that we are investigating is the setup for development on VMS.  Currently we use CC views created and exported from a HPUX11i view server and NFS mount them on the VMS side. In going the JAZZ route, I see us still using the view server (or perhaps a Linux box) to create the work spaces that are then mounted  on the VMS side.

Has anyone else implemented a solution for JAZZ  usage for VMS development? If so how are you doing it?

Does anyone have any recommendations/solutions for this type of development?

Regards;
Norm Dignard

Yes, your proposal should work. Since there is no RTC client on VMS yet, you would have to manage your files on a UNIX box and sharing them with NFS mount.
