Problem with auto-hyperlink of workitems
Hi, pals,
I found the auto-hyperlink (where we write Task 123, then it becomes a hyperlink) very useful. However, I have some other workitems which are are Tasks and they can not automatically become hyperlink. For example,
I have a customized workitem type as 'Milestone' and I created new workitem called: Milestone 123
When I refer it as 'Milestone 123' in description section of any other workitems.. it can not become linkable..
I have to write 'Milestone Task 123'.. and the 'Task 123' part can be linkable..
Is that possible to enable the auto-hyperlink even if I write 'Milestone 123'?

Hi
This should work as you expect it (assuming your customized type has 'Milestone' as name). All work item types followed by an id should become links.
Could you please double check that there is no spelling mistake and if not, open a defect on jazz.net and attach your process spec, s.t. we can investigate further.
It is also possible to have an 'alias' for a work item type. This alias can then also used for such links (e.g. 'bug' for defects etc.)
