Can the context name of a new 3.0.1.x CCM instance be something other than "ccm"

Donald Faul (21122) | asked Jun 21 '12, 7:49 p.m.

I have an (IHS) HTTP Server that I want to string my JTS and several CCM instances under, e.g. with URLs like:

https://mysystemname/jts

https://mysystemname/ccm1

https://mysystemname/ccm2

https://mysystemname/ccm3

...

So the question is,  when I install my various ccm.war files, can i use context names like ccm1, ccm2, etc.?

I think so, though I haven't actually done it myself.

When registering your application with the JTS, you can specify whatever URL root you want.  You will have to be careful to not accept the defaults when registering the application.

Thanks David.  I will give this a try as we try re-architecting our Development system to try out the features of RTC 4.x.

Follow the RTC help instructions for command-line installation and modifying the default context name.  One will need to download and unzip the appropriate Web Installer zip file for the platform.
