Problem in installing RQMWordExcelImport Utility
Hi,
I installed RQMWordExcelImport utility but I am not able to see the AddIn in spreadsheet.. Any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue? |

JAZZ DEVELOPER edited Jun 06 '12, 9:51 a.m. Although the installation goes through without a hiccup, sometimes the RQM menu does not appear. This is mainly due to the fact that Microsoft Office sometimes fails to load the add-ins, if the add-in is built upon .NET framework v2.0 or above. I am using Microsoft Office 2007 only.. Still this issue exist.. ! |
What version of RQM and RQM Import/Export Utility are you using?

another possible reason may be the excel application disable the Importer.
would you please have a check for the following: 1.go to "Excel Options" and "Add-Ins" section. 2. check whether the "Excel Importer" is in the Active Application add-ins or Inactive Application Add-ins if it's in the Inactive Application Add-ins. on the Manage list choose "COM Add-ins" and "Go.." check the "Excel Importer" and press "OK"

I tried this, but still the Add-In is not getting added into XL ! does "Excel Importer" already in Active Application add-ins list? |
