I'm using RTC 3.0.1 and create a work item and enter Japanese characters in HTML field.
Saved my changes and click preview.
The I click edit again: some characters disappeared.

This issue has been identified as defect # 177666 - which was fixed in 4.0 and backported to 3.0.1.1 using 179087.

(which explains why issue can be reproduced at 3.0.1 level - but not at 3.0.1.1, 3.0.1.2 or 3.0.1.3 level)
