Extracting work items

Hi,
We have a requirement to extract the description of a load of work items from the Jazz server and store the contents on a Infocentre. That way I don't have to add 100 users as contributors to Jazz. Those that want to make comments and discussions can then be added.

So, the question is, is it possible, from a standalone Java program (but will probably running as an eclipse action under RTC) extract from a list of work items and their descriptions/summaries?

cheers,

Michael
