Is it possible to set Duration attribute in RTC workitem to only take value in minutes

Hi,
I need to add time duration attribute in my customize work item, after adding attribute of "Duration" in my work item then it shows a separate drop down of consist of values (Second, minutes, hours, days & weeks) when user select nay of the value then he/she can enter its corresponding value.
My question; is there any way with which a user doesn't need to select values (Second, minutes, hours, days & weeks) and can directly enter time duration value which system only take in a minutes not in any other formats
Please help me out
