set custom attribute defaults after creation, help?

If I have default values defined in the team configuration of the process, when I create a custom attribute, I can select the values..

after the attribute is defined, I cannot set it or change it..

is this normal? or did I miss a step?

I am not sure what you are doing, especially since you post in this forum. Can you be more specific?

I have a custom workitem, and presentation..

I want to set some fields to specific default values (without creating a template workitem)..
but it works now.. didn't the other day..

process config/config data/workitems/attribute customization, default values.

but.. never mind
