Order Stories in Taskboard by Custom Long Property

Hi,

I am working with an RTC Project where stories are ranked using a custom property of type Long. People want to see their sprint plan using the Taskboard, with stories ordered by that custom property.

I don't see to be able to set this up :-/ so I wonder if I am missing something: Is there a way to sort a taskboard by custom property (not enumerated)? Or to set the Ranking attribute to a non-enumeration property?

Hi Claire,

I looked into 4.0 RC0 and I was not able to define a sort attribute from a string, a long or an integer. So I can't select it as sorting option. The only way I found was using the column header to manually sort in the plan view.

I am not sure if I am missing anything either. I know there are restrictions with sorting by custom attributes. The question comes up every now and then.
