CRJAZ1316I Illegal read access
![]()
We started to hit this error yesterday on a build definition that has been working for months. The other build definitions all still work except the two that use workspaces loading components from two different RTC repository. (it's been set up correctly and had been working for months).
There was no changes on build ID's permission or anything on the RTC servers involved. Any advise? 2012-03-22 06:01:44 Accepting changes into workspace "<mask>" ... com.ibm.team.repository.common.PermissionDeniedException: CRJAZ1316I Illegal read access: User "<mask>" attempted to read item(s) having the following type(s): WorkItem at com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.ComponentRepositoryItemService.fetchItem(ComponentRepositoryItemService.java:498) at com.ibm.team.scm.service.internal.CacheItemServiceWrapper.fetchItem(CacheItemServiceWrapper.java:138) at com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.RepositoryTransactionContext$CurrentStateMap.get(RepositoryTransactionContext.java:1044) at com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.RepositoryTransactionContext.fetchCurrent(RepositoryTransactionContext.java:282) at com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.RepositoryTransactionContext.fetchCurrent(RepositoryTransactionContext.java:305) at com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.RepositoryTransactionContext.fetchLatest(RepositoryTransactionContext.java:219) |

Have you checked if the build ID can access all the work items included in that build? It seems like it can't access one of them. Maybe the work item is from a project area that the build ID can't access.
