Non Blocking Clearcase Import

Marco Delato (512114) | asked Mar 07 '12, 1:08 p.m.
Hi,
Is there any way to launch an import from ClearCase in a NON-blocking mode?

In detail, in our ClearCase streams there are several unlabelled baselines, and clearcase is not able to rebase a stream with an unlabelled baseline. When I launch an Import from RTC I catch the following error (on the Import Log):
cleartool rebase -view DO_NOT_USE_Pippo_Integration -stream ...
Baseline "PPP0.00.39@\projects" is unlabelled ...
And the import process quits.

Is there any way to skip these wrong baselines, and import only valid baselines?

Thanks in advance,
Marco

When you import, you are allowed to specify an attribute type, and only
baselines with that attribute type will be imported. So only put that
attribute type on the labeled baselines, and you should be all set.
