use IBM installaltion manager to install RSA for instance 8.x

then use Installation manager to install RTC into the same package group.

RTC 3.0.1 client IM repo can be downloaded here at jazz.net

Its really rather simple - You download both products in versions on same eclipse like RSA 7.5 for RTC 2.x and RSA 8.x for RTC 3.0.1

Then you install the products with IBM Installation Manager One at a time. In this process you choose a package group (option in the Installation manager) and in this case you have to choose the same package group for both installations.
