Traceability between RSA models

Naveen Chandani (4812022) | asked Feb 20 '12, 1:09 p.m.
How do I establish traceability withing RSA i.e between different models.

As per the model driven development, abstraction level changes from one model to another. If this transformation is done manually then how to establish traceability.

A very simple example: I created a Use case diagram. for each use case I have a sequence diagram. How do i link the two.

Since this is the Design Management forum, I will assume that you are using RSA with the Design Management client. From within RSA, select one of the diagrams, show the Properties view and click on the Links tab. Here, you can add a link to another diagram. You'll need to set up linking first as explained at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/25-server-client-tips/; otherwise, you may link directly to the URL of the diagram using the "Link to External Web Page" option.

If you are using pure RSA without Design Management, your question would be better answered on the RSA forum at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=430
