Print Table Summary option not displaying all columns in pdf

Hi,

When I am trying to print summary of all Test Execution Records from RQM 3.0.1 after filtering using the Print Table Summary option, I am not getting all fields displayed in the pdf.

I just see id, TER name, TC Name and RISK fields, I do not even see the Last result and Test Plan also which are basic things for a TER.

Can anyone help me to know if there are any settings to be done so that all fields will be displayed in the output pdf.

Thanks in Advance

There are no settings to control what shows up in the PDF. I went and tested this and saw similar behavior to what you mentioned, but for me (on a 3.0.1.2 server) the last result was present, but I didn't see the testplan or the milestone.

If these are values that you need present I would suggest filing a defect at https://jazz.net/jazz02/web/projects/Rational%20Quality%20Manager#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem

This is a known limitation of the PDF Export feature in 3.0.1.x and earlier. The PDFs do not respect column preferences and always show the same static columns. There are a number of reasons, both technical and not for this which I won't bore you with right now.

What will be more interesting to you is that we have already enhanced the Printing Framework to be able to do this in 4.0 RC0. You will be able to preview this functionality in the public Beta when it is posted.
