Estimate field capped at 52 weeks

We are trying to use the estimate field but it is capped at 52 weeks. Is there any way to remove this limitation and allow us to have estimates larger than 1 year?

I'd suggest breaking a task that will be longer than a year into sub-tasks.

Thanks for your suggestion, but is it possible to change to the max value for this field? or how to remove this limitation on the estimate field?

 I just noticed this limitation and was wondering if it has been fixed in recent releases (6.x.) ?
