How to use Story Points with OpenUP template?
The OpenUP process template meets a lot of our needs, but we want to use User Stories and estimate in Story Points ( at lkeast in one variant).
So I think I want to add a custom attribute of type com.ibm.team.apt.attribute.complexity to the User story type, except that does not appear in the pull down
1) Is this the best approach?
2)If so how do I get to use that type?
Thanks,
Keith

Hi Keith
I would first take a look at the settings in the Agile process template (which does use Stories and story points), and you should be able to copy the relevant XML into a new version of the OpenUP template.

Hi Keith,
I'd suggest to look for the 2.0 templates in the near future. The agile planning
has been greatly extended and allows custom complexity attributes. You can
then add story points as a complexity attribute to your own work items and
it will support computing them. Also, we are working on a template based
upon the Scrum template that might serve you once available. It has Epics,
Stories etc. For Open-UP I'd suggest having a look at the beta 2 of RTC 2.0.

I'm looking at the process configuration in RTC 2 RC2. I see in the JUnit config where you can select story points for complexity, but when I try to add something to complexity in a new project using the Open UP template, I only see impact and probability as options. This is using the use case as the high level planning type.
