how to add new Test Enviornment Options apart from prepopulated.

Hi,

While creating the new Test Enviornment options I noticed that under each category of Browsers, Servers etc only some predefined values being listed.

For eg: Under Application Server Category > the values available are

BEA, Tomcat, WAS, Weblogic

My question here is can we customize these values depending upon our project needs ?

If Yes - Can someone please direct me to the correct link which talks about the same.

Regards
Anoop

Thanks Paul - It works :) .

Since I am on RQM 2.X I could not find Manage Project Properties Instead I found System Properties.

Below is what I followed.

Click Admin > Select System Properties
Choose Lab Resource Properties option and choose installed software then Add / Hide the options as per your requirements.

That's right. It's somewhat different for RQM 2.x.

The Test Environments I am using in my test plan are containing resource categories as Browser, Test Adapter, Database...

1. How can I add and remove this categories in the coverage overview in RQM 3.0?
2. Is it possible to add in the Lab resource description my own resource categories as i.e. Repository type, Client OS.
3. Do I need to have admin rights?

thanks a lot in advance.

Try this link:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rqmhelp/v2r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_cust_tp_env_types.html

and if you find how to remove them please let me know. I haven't find it out.
