Dear community,

We are upgrading RTC and RQM from version 2.x to 3.x, and we would like to have all developers upgrade Eclipse clients as well. It seems there is no way around doing a ~350 mb. download to accomplish this, but we would like the upgrade process to be as smooth as possible for the developer.

Is it possible for me to download the p2 install repository on a server that our developers can use to install or upgrade to the newest version of the client through Eclipse plugin manager itself? If so, is there a difference between installing the client for the first time or upgrading it from a previous version? Will workspace be consistent after upgrading?
