Advantages of using CC bridge and CQ bridge with RTC

T M (8876188143) | asked Nov 23 '11, 5:56 a.m.
Hi,

If I'm using CC UCM and CQ (CC UCM and CQ are not integrated) then what additional benefits I get by using RTC and having it linked to CC UCM and CQ (via CC bridge and CQ bridge)? I can think of few:

1. RTC work item acts as an integration point for CC UCM activity and a CQ record (in the "Link"s tab of RTC WI).
2. CQ widget on the RTC dashboard
3. CQ records can be part of backlogs in an agile environment.
4. Build configuration
5. Collaboration around a RTC work item

Anything else?

Thanks!

In general, your CQ entitlement
(https://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21451088), gives you all
the benefits of RTC task management
(https://jazz.net/projects/rational-team-concert/features/wi) and
planning
(https://jazz.net/projects/rational-team-concert/features/planning) in
your CC/CQ environment.
In addition, RTC work items are the key integration point for other RTC
features, like SCM and Build, as well as for other CLM products like RQM
and RRC.

Cheers,
Geoff
