Baseline as an attribute of a workitem

There's a way to add SCM Components to a Item list attribute of a workitem.
Is there a way to get baseline no's? So we can track our releases much more properly.

Our main goal is to have a Release workitem and before creating a release we should the item list of that workitem by choosing the component and its baselines so will have our releases associated to components.

Or would you suggest another way to manage releases?

And also is there a way to query workitems based on Item List attribute? I couldn't find the attribute in the query editor.

First, unless your system consists of only a single component, you'll
want to create a snapshot (which is effectively a composite baseline,
identifying a baseline of each of the components in your system).

You can then just attach the URL for that snapshot to the work item (as
a "Related Artifact").

Currently, the only way I know of to find the URL for a snapshot is to
search for that snapshot using the Web UI.

Cheers,
Geoff

Tahnk you for your reply. I'll try this solution.

But I'll also open an RFE for query'ing an item list attribute.
