Cut/Paste into Workitem discussion Formatting issues

I have a custom workitem we are using for tracking work on a poject.
The area we add information is a discussion, the editor has issues with cut/paste formatting from various other files, this is a issue for the user community which need to copy data into these discussions.

Are there attributes to modify this behavior or Change the formatting of the default discussion, We need the threaded entries of a dsicussion, it's just the editor when we cut and paste, I believe due to non monospaced fonts
