RRDI: sample images URL on RRDI server

Hi,

When inserting sample images, I received a web server error - 404 (Not found)
https:/hostname:9080/reporting/samples/images/

Anyone know what's the default image path of RRDI?

Found this technote: 1342223
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21342223
neither the mentioned files nor the samples/images path exists.

You have to put the images files in the right file system folder on web server so WebSphere can serve them. I have Insight 1.0.1 on my system so I've made it work by putting my images in this folder:
C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational Insight\AppServer\profiles\RationalReport\installedApps\mfoxtcNode01Cell\IBM Cognos 8.ear\p2pd.war
Your location will be slightly different, and the folder "mfoxtcNode01Cell" will have your node name, not "mfox". I created an "images" folder at that location and put my images in there. You should then be able to access them at: http://servername:9080/rrdi/images/ibm.JPG
I would suggest using a browser first to verify that the URL works. Once you can see the image in a browser, copy/paste the URL into an image object you drag into your Report Studio report. I've gotten 403 errors with the Browse button in the image dialog, but it works once you click OK.

The url in my previous reply should be /reporting, not /rrdi. Sorry
