New Plans features on RTC web but not on Client

In RTC 3.0 web, under plans there are many new features like
* Roadmap View
* Plan snapshots
* Assigning resources to Plans
these feature are available on web UI but not on RTC 3.0 Stanalone Eclipse Client. Is it a limitation of RTC 3.0 client or I may not able to find them ? Please reply.

Hi,

These features have been developed for the web client only and hence are available there. It is recommended to use the web client as it has more features than the eclipse client.

Thanks,
Sharoon - Planning Team

Hi,

Yes, performance wise IE8 and FF are much better than IE7. If possible, its recommended to upgrade to the newer versions of the browser.

Thanks,

As Sharoon mentions, IE8 and FF peformance is a lot better. I have also seen/heard problems where the web UI in IE7 gets slower over time. Restart yopur browser to fix.

I found that the plans section on IE7 sometimes caused a horrendous CPU usage and performance. IE8 does not suffer in the same way.
