Setting up a DM import without browser access to DM server

Can it be done?

For reasons unimportant, I need a process that doesn't use a web browser at any point (we have IE6, but that doesn't work of course!) - so this (https://jazz.net/library/article/718) is out, because you still need to log in to the web UI.

No, you have to use web browser.
