How can we create a new Link Type in RTC eg - stories

How can we create a new Link Type in RTC for example for Stories? This link type should act as a simple referenz from a work item to another.
Is it possible to extend the Link Types, either in the Eclipse Client or directly on the RTC Server, maybe on the DB?

To my knowledge, you cannot currently create a new Link Type in RTC
without adding a plugin.

Cheers,
Geoff

Is it possible to get option to display pre-conditions for defined test case / test script during test execution.
Currently the pre-conditions are only displayed in the test case view which is not sufficient. Tester should have pre-conditions available and visible in the test execution view to validate their copletion.

Suggested scenario:
1. Test case is defined
2. Pre-conditions are defined for test case
3. Test script is created for test case
4. Test execution record is created for test case
5. Tester runs TER - test script is diplayed together with defined pre-conditions
