Microsoft Excel to Rational Quality Manager Import Utility

Aziz Sharafi (16132) | asked Oct 26 '11, 10:54 p.m.
Hi, Does the Latest release of MSO2RQM work with CLM 3.0.1 ?

I have checked the Wiki and the API details, but no clear indication if this is ready yet now..

We have a customer who is planning to migrate from HP QC to CLM 3.0.1, The idea is extract HP QC to excel and then use our utility.

Using MSO2RQM will it push

Test Artifacts to RQM,
Requirements to RRC and
Defects to RTC

and maintain traceability?

Yes. In fact the Wiki includes a page on "What's New in 3.0.1":
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMWordAndExcelWhatSNewIn301

You can download the 3.0.1 version of the utility at the RQM 3.0.1 download page (scroll down to "Extras"):

Note that there is also an updated stable release which shipped with 3.0.1.1:

(again scroll down to "Extras").

Thanks Patrick. Could you clarify one point from Aziz's post please?
"Using MSO2RQM will it push

a. Test Artifacts to RQM,
b. Requirements to RRC and
c. Defects to RTC "

From https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter the answers to a and b are "yes" but not very clear on c.
Thanks

MSO2RQM or RQMExcelWordImporter does not import Defects into RTC.

The list of supported artifact types in the wiki as well:
