We have automated our test scripts with RFT 8.2.0.2 and run these scripts from a test suite in RQM.

In some situations the result of the execution is shown as passed in the test suite even if the log shows that the test has failed.
Does anybody know what may cause this and what we can do to have the result in the test suite syncronised with the result from RFT?

This must be an issue with RFT adapter which uploads wrong result in some cases as you mentioned. This should be followed in RFT forum
