basic usage
So, I just installed (60-day trial) standard RTC but need some assistance in correcting my mistakes/misunderstandings...
1) What would be the best approach in cleanly removing a wrongly defined user?
2) Tried creating a project area from the server web UI but got the following msg but also got the same msg from the client UI:
Error deploying predefined process templates to the repository. Please check your server log for more details.
: The "com.ibm.team.rtc.default" client access license policy does not allow the "com.ibm.team.process.server.saveProcessTemplate" operation.
Thanks in advance.

Tonya,
1.) Users can't be deleted, but they can be archived. In the Admin Web UI (/jazz/admin), click on "User Management" and search for the user you want to archive. Mouse-over the user's row in the table, and click the "Archive User" icon that appear next to the user's name.
2.) This error indicates that you haven't assigned a Developer client access license to your user. Under the "User Management" page in Admin Web UI, click on "Client Access License Management" in the left menu. Choose the "Rational Team Concert - Developer" tab and click "Assign Developer Licenses". Choose your user and click "Add & Close" You should now have permission to deploy the predefined templates.

Thx Matt, it helped alot and realized my bluegroup authorization was set up wrong.
It's working but no one can log in other than the ADMIN. My user ids have an @ symbol, could that be causing the problem?
I used the LDAP4Dummies wiki to change my server.xml and web.xml but that causes more problems. Could I send these files for someone to glance over and guide me to a solution?
