CLM Java ETLs vs. Data Manager CLM ETLs

Hi,

Is it possible to use Java ETLs instead of DM ETLs for CLM data?

Are where any differences in datawarehouse model or in FM metamodel?

-thanks in advance

The CLM Java ETLs are designed for use with RRDI, not Insight. If you are trying to extract data from other products in addition to CLM and integrate it in the warehouse, you will not get correct results if you mix the Java ETLs with the DM ETLs.

The DW and FM models for CLM and Insight have a common core. The RIODS and RIDW schemas and their part of the FM model are identical. CLM adds their own RICALM schema to the warehouse and includes it in their FM model. Insight adds the RIBA schema to the warehouse, but I don't believe an FM model is provided.

Hi Michael!

Thanks for your response!!!

Do you think it is possible to use 2 separate datawarehouses:

JDW that is filled with Java ETL (for CLM data) and DMDW that is filled with DM ETLS (for not CLM data)

It seems that I could even create single FM package for both darawarehouses and use it in Report Studio.

-Thanks in advance
