Installation folder for CLM 2011
I just read a post where the author was having trouble with RQM 2.0.1 with iFix5 after he installed it on a Windows 2008 Server R2, 64 bit OS. The recommendation in the reply was to install the application (RQM) into the "C:\Program Files" folder instead of the default folder presented during the installation process. The default folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)".
Does this recommendation hold true for all of the CLM 2011 offerings? Should we install JTS to "C:\Program Files" on a 64 bit OS? The installation instructions do say to install under "C:\Program Files", but the default comes up as "C:\Program Files (x86)". I have been told by my IT associates here that this happens because the CLM 2011 offerings are 32 bit programs and Windows wants to put those types of programs under "C:\Program Files (x86)".

One answer
I just read another post where the answer to my question is "Yes. The recommendation is that you do NOT install CLM 2011 under "C:\Program Files (x86)", if you are installing on a 64 bit operating system. Use someplace like "C:\Program Files", instead".
