M6a migration

Harleen Sahni (6642) | asked Jun 19 '08, 5:44 p.m.
Hi,

Our team is currently running on Jazz Team server M6a, and I want to migrate to RC5. What are the necessary steps for doing that? I seem to remember detailed migration guides linked to the download page, but I can't find them for any of the new RCs.

Also, will I have to upgrade the repository to some version before going to RC5 or is an M6a -> RC5 upgrade possible? Is there an updated version of repotools for M6a to do this?

Thanks,

Harleen

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Harleen,

The migration document is on Beta3 page.
https://jazz.net/downloads/RationalTeamConcert/betas/1.0Beta3?p=migrate

The recommended migration path is M6a to Beta3. After migrating your
database to Beta3, you can upgrade your server to RC5 and connect to your
migrated database.

Note: Get the latest M6a bits for running an export.
