Modifying the content of the dashboard & query tooltips

Thibault Leclercq (9011013) | asked Aug 08 '11, 5:44 a.m.
Hi,

I want to reduce the number of fields displayed in the tooltip that pops up when hovering on a work item in the dashboard or in a query.

At the moment, the tooltip contains all the fields, and I want to only display the key fields (if a user wants more info, they can open the full record). Basically it seems that by default the tooltip uses the same editor as the main Work Item Editor.

I can't find where to specify the editor that I want to use for the tooltip. Where is it?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, customizing the content of a hover tooltip is currently not supported. Feel free to open an enhancement

Thanks for the (unfortunate) info Paul...

I have created the Enhancement 173914.
