RTC Configuration Management limitations

Andrea Mantovani (4174) | asked Aug 04 '11, 10:12 a.m.
Hello,
is there any limitations when using CM capabilities of RTC for excel file types?

I'm experiencing issues (i.e., HTTP error 400) when trying to perform check in operation of some excel files.
I modified/updated the file content several times, and I noticed that all work fine if the excel file contains less than 1300 lines (around this value), independently on the number of columns.

Could this be an issue related to the specific file type?

Thanks in advance,
Andrea

I'd suggest creating a work item describing your problem (which version
of RTC, which RTC client you are using to do the checkin, what type of
file you are checking), and then do a Find Duplicates to see if this
problem has already been found (and if so, what the workarounds are).
If not, then submit the work item, and then give support a call so they
can help you develop a workaround (or just call support first, and they
can take care of the work item part).

Cheers,
Geoff
