Is there still a limitation on number of files in a folder

Performance will downgrade when there is more than 800 files in a folder in ClearCase and that has been a big issue for mainframe users.

Is this limit still exists for RTC

Thanks

That should not be an issue for RTC.

Details:
That ClearCase issue is primarily for dynamic views.
For copy-based views (which means RTC and pretty much every system other
than ClearCase :-), the performance of large numbers of files in a
folder is usually just whatever the native file-system performance is.

Geoff
