User cannot modify execution result

User has executed a test and needs to modify the Actual Result of the test case.
Upon completing the test, the user navigates to Execution>View Execution Results.User selects the status field to view the details of the result.
Upon selecting the drop down for the Actual Result, user changes the value.
User receives an error message that the "Save Failed at..."

Upon clicking the error message the user receives more details on the message:
Error: User does not have the appropriate role to perform operation .

Apparently they don't have the permission you mentioned. Have the
administrator go the the project area administration page for the
project area where this issue is happening and see if the user for which
is experiencing this issue is in a process role which has permissions
for this operation. On the permissions tab of the project area you this
permission shows up under Project Configurations->Quality
Manager->Execute Test Case->Execute.

They really shouldn't need that permission to modify the Actual Result
field of a completed result. So that seems like a defect, however I
would like to know your version of RQM because it's likely already been
fixed.
