About the 10 free Developer licenses

10 Free for RTC Developers! Rational Team Concert (only) is free for up to ten developers, starting with RTC 3.0, with community support only.

After I buy some real licenses, do I still have these 10 free Developer licenses?

Thanks
Jirong

Please see page:

https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/3.0.1

for licensing info. In particular, it says:

All licenses can be installed together on a server in any combination.

with the caveat that:

Mixing Developer 10 Free or Developer for Workgroups licences with
Developer or Developer for IBM Enterprise Platform licenses on the same
server will result in Distributed Source Control and High Availability
capabilities being disabled for all licenses on that server. Mixing
Developer 10 Free licenses with other licenses on the same server
results in the entire server being eligible for only Jazz.net community
support.

Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Geoff, or anybody that know,
You mention the caveat of "Mixing Developer 10 Free licenses with other licenses on the same server results in the entire server being eligible for only Jazz.net community
support.", but it is not clear to me if that limitation is just to other RTC licenses, or does it also apply to RQM and/or RRC licenses.
Can you tell me whether RQM and/or RRC licenses that are purchased will be supported by IBM if mixed with the 10 free RTC Developer for WorkGroups licenses, if they are all on the same server?
Andy

we have an east coast US client who's asked a similar question, the jazz.net download for the 10-user "free RTC" developer CAL, DOES NOT seem to allow any of the users to be assigned. This client has many RQM licenses, some RRC, and wants to evaluate RTC with the 10-FREE.  Is this allowed?

It would seem the intent, is for IBM to provide the 10 -- but, maybe we just missed something simple in the administration of the 10 free.  Can anyone guide us (or, we should submit it as a defect, if it just DOESN'T WORK?)
