Customize presentation in workitem widget
Hello,
We customized work items for our needs and a question now appears. When I am on a dashboard, I can add the "workitem" widget (which displays the result of a query). When I put the mouse hover a result, a quick presentation appears to sum up the content of this workitem. The fact is with our customization, this presentation has become useless. Is there a way to customize the displayed information in it ? I didn't find the way to do it. Regards Sylvain |

I would recommend creating a defect filed against the Work Items team here: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWelcome The hover popup contents is defined by the work items component, and it will probably appear the same way for other work item links in other parts of the UI. If you could also provide a description of how you customized the work items and why the hover popups are not useful anymore (screenshots would help), that would be helpful. |

In RTC 3.0, I have customized work item, created a new workflow and created a new presentation as per my new custom attributes. I am able to get the display with right fields when I hover over work items in Dash board. I think if you can try to create new editor presentation, it should work.

Thanks for the quick answer. I already designed an editor for this workitem. The fact is that the hover presentation doesn't represent the workitem editor. For example, I suppressed the discussion area from the workitem editor, it is still in the hover presentation. Same thing for the resolution and description fields.
