Integration between RRC 2.0.0.1 and RequisitePro 7.1
One answer
Hi,
If you want to use the ReqPro integration, I *highly* recommend you move to RRC 2.0.0.4 which contains numerous fixes and improvements to the integration feature (as well as other parts of the product). You will also need to use a newer version of ReqPro. You can find some additional details here:
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-requirements-composer/releases/2.0.0.4?p=releaseNotes
The integration itself is at the project level (you connect an RRC project to a ReqPro project) but you choose which requirements to sync and whether you want 'push, 'pull' or sync to occur in both directions. There are some limitations such as if you modify the requirement in RRC using rich text, you will no longer be able to modify it from the ReqPro side.
You can learn more about the feature here (look under the Integrating section):
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rpcmpose/v2r0/index.jsp
Note that RRC 3.0.1 will no longer provide ReqPro "integration". Instead, there will be a ReqPro "migration" feature (coming soon) such that all requirement data is managed in the Jazz-based server.
Hope that helps.
