Creating new TER overwrites the existing ?

Hi,

When you run a test case, you get the "Run Test Case" dialog box, whee you ca choose, among others, the "Test Execution Record" you want to use.
If non exist the default value "unassigned" is shown, but after the first run you get the option to choose between the one created in the previous run, and "New".
If I choose "New", execute the test case, and then looks at the TER's for this test case, only the first one is displayed! No new TER is created, or at least, so it seems.
So, is the first TER simply overwritten, or what happens, and how do I use te "New" functionality (can't find anything in help).

A new TER will only be created if an existing one with the same plan/milestone and environment doesn't already exist. RQM wouldn't allow you to create duplicate TERs and it distinguishes them by plan/milestone/environment. If you select the "New" option and specify a combination of plan/milestone/environment that doesn't already exist, then a new one will be created.
