Ability to add categories to test scripts

Brian Cam (63188) | asked May 24 '11, 2:10 p.m.
Does anyone know in the upcoming release 3.0 of RQM if we can add categories to test scripts like we do now for test plans, test cases and test suites?

Yes. See https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_create_testscript.html.

I think the information provided at the link is incorrect or my question is not clear. What I mean is if you go to Administration > System Properties, there are Test Plan Categories, Test Case Categories and Test Suite Categories. But there is no Test Script Categories. If I'm viewing hundreds of test scripts, there is not an easy way for me to know what applications these scripts are for if the script names do not include the name of the application.

Sorry, the linked doc is our "under development" documentation.
You can expect to see this functionality in RQM 3.0.1.
