Could you please give me some guidance, and help!

I have a sandbox/sandpit environment where I have the following installed:

SRV1 - CCM (3.0 iFix 1)
SRV2 - QM (3.0.1 RC3)

I have added the two application as friends on each others ends.
Pointing to: https://<hostname>/ccm/rootservices etc

When I create a new QM project, and try and create an new association and select the added CCM server I get the following:

"Failed to read matching artifact container catalog resource:
Unable to load URL: /qm/proxy?uri=https://<hostname>/ccm/oslc-scm/catalog, Status: 500"

Now I understand that this link is between a released version and a RC version, but surely in a test environment it should still work?

I have tried to do some research and investigation but that has not resulted in anything peachy. This is just for a demo for June, so I woudl really not prefer to use RQM v2.
