How long should an import take?

Justin Dyer (3135) | asked May 12 '11, 2:52 p.m.
I have a customer who is migrating data from an RTC 3.0 Derby database on one server to another server with RTC 3.0 Derby. The exported CCM tar file is about 3GB in size. The import has been going for about a day and a half now. Is that normal behavior? The customer states that the import seems to still be running fine as it is showing output going to the command window. Curious if anyone out there has run imports on a similar size file and how long it took. Thanks.

We have had 8 GB DB to export from DB2 and import in MS SQL - both export and import took about a day - and those systems are faster than Derby
