Add tag to 500 stories

Hi Steven,
in the Eclipse Client you can run a query, add the tag attribute to the displayed columns, select a bunch of work items rightclick on the tags column and bulk update the tags for all selected work items.
Pleas note by default queries are limited to 100 results, I believe.
in the Web UI that tags attribute does unfortunately not show up for bulk work item editing. You might want to create a work item for that.

We have a requirement to add tag to 500 stories, I could not find an easy approach except to add one by one...
Is there any way to add a tag to a number of stories in bunch?
This can be done in 3.0.1 in the Eclipse client (apparently, not yet in
the Web client). Not sure what release it was introduced.
To do so, run a query that matches those stories.
In the resulting Work Items view, use the menu action to add the Tags
column to the view.
Then multiselect the 500 work items, right click over the Tags column in
one of the items, and select the Change_Tags operation.
Cheers,
Geoff
