How to pass firewall when using BF

qiu saphen (27126039) | asked Mar 21 '11, 11:29 a.m.
Hi,
I have installed BF on suse10. But I can not login the consol for there is a firewall on suse10. If I stop the firewall I can login. But I have to start the firewall because it is needed for us.
I have added almost all the ports I know to exclude list of firewall, but it does work.
Does anybody have the same issue? Maybe the https protocol cause the issue?

you probably missed port 3966 which is the default Serivces layer (API) port.

Check your buildforge.conf in your Platform directory under your buildforge install dir. Any port numbers mentioned in there should be opened through your firewall. Typically you will need to open 3966 8443 9443 in addition to other ports.

Hi,
I have added all the ports which will be needed to firewall exclude list, but it doesn't work.
Do we have a document to guide user how to pass firewall? The issue has blocked me several days...
